Real ESG transformation, measurable results

A family-owned extrusion products manufacturer supplying the Saudi construction sector had no centralised carbon data, no emissions baseline, and a board mandate to align with Saudi Vision 2030 sustainability goals. Fragmented utility data across 12 facilities made Scope 1 and 2 accounting practically impossible without a purpose-built platform.

Gazelles deployed Ecopshub's Carbon Accounting module across all 12 facilities in a phased 12-month program. A unified GHG inventory was established covering Scope 1 (combustion, process), Scope 2 (electricity), and selected Scope 3 categories. A decarbonization roadmap with 5-year milestones, SBTi-compatible targets, and site-level action plans was delivered alongside a net-zero strategy aligned to Saudi Vision 2030.

Cement dosage across production mixes was unoptimised and inconsistent, resulting in excess embodied carbon and unnecessary raw material cost. There was no digital system for tracking carbon per m³ of concrete across the 5-location network, and no baseline from which to measure improvement or report to clients requiring Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Gazelles conducted a mix-design optimisation study across all 5 plants, identifying 5 levers — cement substitution, SCM integration, admixture optimisation, mix design rationalisation, and water-cement ratio calibration — that reduced average cement dosage to 300–320 kg/m³ on optimised mixes. Ecopshub (ECOPs) was deployed for real-time digital tracking of carbon intensity per batch and per plant, enabling continuous monitoring and client-facing EPD-ready data.

A rapidly expanding UAE healthcare network had no unified ESG data system across 14 locations. Energy consumption, medical waste, and resource use were tracked in disconnected spreadsheets. Growing regulatory requirements, hospital accreditation expectations, and patient-community ESG awareness demanded a credible, auditable sustainability program aligned with GRI and SASB Healthcare sector standards.

Ecopshub was deployed across all 14 facilities to capture Scope 1–3 emissions, energy intensity, water use, medical waste metrics, and social indicators. Gazelles led a double materiality assessment, configured SASB Health Care Facilities standards alongside GRI Universal Standards, and designed an operational efficiency program targeting HVAC optimisation, LED retrofits, waste segregation, and linen/consumable procurement rationalisation.

A GCC education group operating 38 schools had no consolidated ESG data, no GHG baseline, and limited sustainability governance. Each school operated independently on energy, waste, and procurement. Leadership wanted to align with international sustainability standards, engage faculty and students as ESG champions, and produce a credible GRI-aligned sustainability report to satisfy parent communities, regulators, and institutional stakeholders.

Gazelles facilitated an ESG strategy workshop and materiality assessment across the group's senior leadership. Ecopshub was configured to aggregate energy, water, waste, and transport data from all 38 schools into a unified GHG inventory. A student and staff ESG champion program was designed and launched — generating 430+ sustainability initiatives across curriculum, operations, and procurement. The group's first consolidated GRI-aligned sustainability report was produced within one academic year.

A major regional contractor managing 46 simultaneous project sites had no standardised carbon tracking, inconsistent procurement practices, and wide variation in installation efficiency across sites. Client requirements for ISO 14064-aligned GHG reporting, green sourcing attestation, and LEED project credits demanded a systematic, platform-enabled approach across the entire project portfolio.

Ecopshub was deployed as the project-level ESG tracking platform across all 46 sites, capturing Scope 1 (diesel, gas), Scope 2 (electricity), and material-embedded carbon. Gazelles designed a lean construction program that standardised installation workflows, rationalised material orders, and established a green local supplier registry. A regional GCC logistics group with a large owned and sub-contracted fleet had no Scope 1 (fuel combustion) or Scope 3 (upstream transport) baseline, no fleet telematics integration, and no roadmap to reduce transport-related emissions. Contractual ESG requirements from government and corporate clients, combined with rising fuel costs, demanded a structured decarbonization strategy with measurable milestones and technology-enabled tracking.

Gazelles facilitated a transport emissions baseline using Ecopshub's logistics carbon module — integrating fleet telematics, fuel cards, and sub-contractor data. A 2030 decarbonization roadmap was built targeting 40% value chain emissions reduction through: (1) route optimisation and AI-driven load consolidation, (2) engine idling reduction protocols with real-time alerts, (3) a phased EV fleet transition plan with infrastructure investment modelling, and (4) RFID-enabled asset and cargo visibility reducing empty runs and idle dwell time. A 30% energy reduction program addressed depot and warehouse energy use in parallel.
