Principles issued through the UAE Sustainable Finance Working Group and published on the CBUAE Rulebook. The Central Bank’s press release is dated 13 November 2023. C 8/2025 describes these principles as issued in November 2023. They cover board oversight, strategy, organisation, risk management, monitoring and reporting, capital and liquidity, and scenario analysis. They are principles. The later Regulation C 8/2025 is the binding risk-management regulation for banks and insurers.
